PHIL DEARSON & JESSICA GREGSON Partners at Subsector
Jessica Rowley-Gregson and Phil Dearson, both partners in the consultancy, Subsector. They have both managed agencies over the last 20 years (digital and integrated) where they have worked with some of the world’s best-known organisations across almost all industry verticals.
Jessica has spent much of her career working closely with businesses who want to communicate clearly with customers in retail environments, through events, in social media and digital channels and with advertising. When she’s not creating practical transformation plans for clients, Jessica sits on the Diversity Council for the British Interactive Media Association. She is also a member of Innovation Social, an affiliation of innovation leaders from agency, brand and startup worlds who believe that innovation will disrupt UK business for the better. Jessica also runs a boat design business where she help people start life afloat.
Phil’s career started in market research. When the web was created, he migrated into the agency world where he held a variety of roles, making and marketing as Head of Digital, Head of Strategy, Head of Innovation, Planning Director and Technical Director. He eventually founded the business transformation consultancy, Subsector.
Phil works across a range of sectors including Government, the Arts, Beverages, Financial Services, Third Sector, FMCG, Retail, Fashion, Telecoms, Automotive, Health & Fitness and Entertainment.
