Presentation Title: Design Systems Ops and Design Tokens

Outline: Kaelig’s presentation will focus on Design Tokens that enable scaling design systems and components across stacks and platforms, so how come they aren’t a standard part of the design and engineering workflow? Design tokens are central and tiny pieces of UI information to store design related information such as colors, fonts, spaces, animations, etc… Their benefits is that they can be transformed and formatted to meet the needs of any platform (Android, iOS, Web, etc…).

Introducing the Design Tokens and the W3C Community Group: a group of people and companies who build design system tooling that includes Adobe, Sketch, InVision, Framer, Figma, UXPin… to define how design and developer tooling should communicate in the future.
